Carver-Hawkeye Arena

Awesome, energizing, atmosphere!! You get such an amazing rush at the top of the arena stairs, when you look down and see how large it is. The food is good and there's enough confession stands so you don't have to wait long to get food. Herky the Hawk is amazing , he walks around in the seats. He welcomes you and takes pictures with you. There's parking every where. Some paid, some free. It is handicap equipped, also. Staff is always around to help with anything you need.

Great place to watch a sporting event. Not a bad seat at any price level in the building. Only concession I had was a bottle of water @ $4.50, par for the course at an event. Seemed like everyone in the building except me was eating ice cream cones so they must be good?

Carver has a great concourse. Their are several different types of food vendors and most of them have more than one location. You can bring in one sealed, unopened, bottle of water. The bathroom lines can get a little congested, but even at halftime or end of game, 5-10 minutes at worst. During games the cell signal is pretty plugged up. Enjoy the game!

Everyone there is super helpful! Very clean. Food good, ice cream especially! And to make it the most awesome ever, The Iowa Hawkeye Wrestling Team defeated Oklahoma State wrestling team for THEIR 13TH CONSECUTIVE WIN. Hawks go undefeated!

Really nice. I would have given 5 stars if seating had a little more legroom. It was just enough though.
