Ten Thousand Villages has an eclectic selection of fair trade products that truly includes something for everyone at very reasonable prices.nWant socks that support efforts to save the sloths or save shelter dogs?nNeed to wrap gifts in a more eco-friendly way, perhaps using beautiful recycled Bangladeshi saris?nInterested in a cloth tape measure that looks like an alpaca?
I have fallen in love with this store. You haven't been there then you should go soon. The selection of items is amazing. The staff is helpful and very friendly. I give The Thousand Villages my highest recommendation. They're a welcoming a business and a an excellent supporter of the local downtown Iowa City shopping district.
Love it love it love it! Always has wonderful fair trade items from foods to socks and jewelery to home items.
Nice fair-trade household items including holiday decorations and wall hangings. This is a great place to come on a girls day shopping trip, fun to browse. You might find the perfect coasters, baskets, scarves, drinkware, or decorative pillows.
