So this place is cozy. Has lots of space for family dinning. Great, recently renovated bar area. Good beer selection, well priced, solid bar foods. Garden salad is better than the caesar.
Don't have Fox on TV. But french fries were good. Bad service. Waitress seemed passive aggressive
Edit: won’t ever be back.nnThe food is ok. The beer is cold. That’s fine I suppose.nnThe service is terrible. Every time I make the 30 minute drive to eat here, I always second guess myself because I know the service will be awful. We tip well and are polite, it makes no difference. If we’re one of two tables in here, I think it’s a bit excessive to go more than 20 minutes without a refill when mentioning it and the waitress passively aggressively ignores you.nnReally starting to consider never coming back.
Ya know, the posted reviews are most likely accurate; Sportys is a nice place to grab eats and brews. My only complaint is their beer selection. Although they have Deschutes Black Butte Porter on tap, it is not. It is in fact and IPA, they don’t have a beer pull label for the IPA so they left the Porter pull giving me the impression they had my beer. After three beers returned for not being Porter, I was enlightened by the staff they don’t have Black Butte Porter. Bummer. Guinness in a bottle with a cold glass will suffice.
We were staying in Langdon on a road trip. What a great place for supper and a drink. Friendly, prompt service and great food!
