I was in the area for the Festival of Lights. It was much larger than I thought it would be. There were so many wonderful displays and there were signs in front of each one, so I could tell who donated/sponsored which lights. There were some very imaginative displays. It was fun riding though with a vehicle full of people. I believe it was just five dollars for a car, ten dollars for a van, and more for a limousine. Santa was there for the children and there were characters dressed in costumes waving us in. The kids said it was a better light show than Dubuque's. I am thinking about going back again before Christmas.

Loved this place . Wonderful people who are preserving tones of historical artifacts. Way more than Steam engines. This was easily our favorite stop in Iowa

Did the holiday light drive thru, was fun, cheap and very impressive with many well done displays.

My husband and I were passing through the state when we were told about the old Thrasher Museum days. It was a wonderful time we're so glad we had a chance to be there. They even let us bring your dog and he wrote the tractor train with us. It was a wonderful trip to the state and the Midwest. We would love to return someday.

Midwest old threshers Mount Pleasant Iowa. This is a great place to go for the labor day weekend. Learning history of the American farmers past. Much to do much & see and enjoy. Antique cars, tractors, various types of engines, trains, trolley cars, horses, & great horse pull contest. Wonderful concerts. Much entertainment throughout the grounds. Great time for all in the family. I've attended every yr for 48 yrs.
