It is small and convenient. Has a broad variety of items such as: clothing, cleaning, makeup, gardening items and party items. A long with a minature grocery store stocked with staples. Doesn't have a large variety of a paticular item but will get you out the door faster and with more of your money still in your pocket than going to Wal-Mart. A con to going to Dollar General is that they are usually crowded due to the lack of floor space. Though much worth the trip.

Nice to visit occasionally just to see different items that Walmart doesn't carry. Especially around holidays. Price is comparable to Walmart. They do have super sales though where you can pick up out of season items for just a dime a piece. Crew is almost always friendly. However the store is clean but a little run down. Could use a little tlc.
