This is the worst Fareway in this part of Iowa. They are frequently out of store ad items. They are frequently rude, especially at the meat counter.nnYes, they will take your groceries out to the car for you and you don't have to worry about self-checkout, but being friendly, helpful, and having stock on hand would help a lot. Their meat counter is pretty-much worthless.nnI contrast this with the Fareway stores in Waukon, Decorah, Evansdale, Waterloo (south side), Cedar Falls store on Greenhill Rd which does have self-checkout, Independence, Manchester, and Hiawatha stores, which always seem to have ad-items in stock, and very friendly attitudes. For some reason, the Oelwein store just cannot get it together.nnI'm thankful for Hy-Vee coming to Oelwein. Maybe having some competition will help straighten this store out. If they closed their doors at this location, I wouldn't shed a tear. I already drive to the Manchester or Independence store instead.
Clean store. Fantastic enthusiastic employs, quality meats, foods and other personal products. Company willing to give a variety of humans, men an women, all employable ages, a great job.nThank you Fareway!

Had to Throw Grapes Away when I got home Due to Mold Lettuce was Already turning BROWN, No Water Refill Due to Virus and yet out of at least 100 Patrons and 3 masks Mine included, went back week later Veggies looked 100% better, Not much for people Keeping distance though
