The person taking my order was very nice and polite. The person taking my money and giving me my food had a look like it was a great bother to be there. I love hotdogs so I was happy to see an A&W in Spirit Lake. By far it was the worst hog dog I've ever had. It tasted like they put the hotdog in the bun, poured the Coney sauce and canned cheese over it and put it in the microwave to heat it through. The bun was way too hot and mushy to have been heated any other way. The root beer tasted like it was watered down..disappointed and I won't be back.

We were greeted by every employee on our way in., and thanked by each as we left. The young lady at the counter was funny and had our order competed quickly. The place was clean and inviting. We're only had icecream but we will be back.

Super clean! Wonderful service! The food was fantastic! The decor was great! It's much bigger inside than it looks outside. My 3 yr old and I couldn't be more pleased!

Best A&W around! Knocks Spencer & Emmetsburg out of the park. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick service meal!
