A sad but interesting part of history. If you're in the area and have a little but of time to spare and enjoy museums and history this might be just right for you. You can learn a bit about the history of the area that most people have no idea about whatsoever. It's a rather small museum, you can't go inside the cabin, and the grounds are also limited so you won't need a ton of time -perhaps half an hour or so.
It was interesting because of its historical value.
Nice walk through quiet neighborhood. Check the hours if you want to visit gift shop!
Great Iowa history here, which also gives both sides of the story
