We are sorry that Mr. Dominguez, who we do not believe to have visited our museums, left us a negative review. The Garrett-Phelps house is an outstanding example of Italianate-Victorian architecture, and the proctoring organization is fortunate to have a site that is so well preserved that it looks as if the family could return at any moment.nThe medical memories section of the building is interesting and informative, and the docents are friendly and knowledgeable.

Located next to Snake Alley, the Phelps House is a great place to learn more about Des Moines County.
