If you are looking for the worst tenderloin in the state of Iowa. Look no more. Meat so tough I couldn't bite into it. The breading was rock hard and I'm still trying to figure out what herbs they put in it. It tasted medicinal. Rosemary maybe? Where I come from you have pork, flour, eggs, salt and cracker or panko crumb. The gal that took our order was very pleasant and helpful. Service was quick. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Not sure if we will stop again.
The best maid rite location. Love the adjacent Amish store. This is always a must stop on our roadtrips down I 35!
Very tasty food. We weren't familiar with Maid-Rite and really enjoyed it. The loose meat sandwiches are very flavorful. The mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent as we're the fries. We bought some chocolate chip cookies for snacking in the car on the rest of our road trip and enjoyed those, too. Too bad these restaurants don't exist by us.
I was passing through and stopped in, I got the 2 piece chicken meal with mash potatoes. That was the best chicken I ever had. I will have to stop in next time im passing through again.
Food was good. We had the hamburgers french fries and onion rings. Ordered and paid at the counter. Food is delivered to your table. Has an Amish store attached to it.
