I waited 50 years to see Dexter Iowa, and Rod Stanley and the rest of the townsfolk made it worth the wait. I never once dreamed I would be blessed with such an entertaining, yet informative tour of the Barrow gang shootout, and of the other sites i didn't know the town has to offer. If you're ever nearby, treat yourself to a ride down the 26 mile White Pole Road, and stop in Dexter. It was one of the finest days in my life, in which prayers got answered and dreams came true.
The museum is small but Rod Stanley is an amazing tour guide. His knowledge of the history of happenings around Dexter makes this museum a definite place to visit.
