It seems like the library has great kids programming. Unfortunately the study spaces are lacking with only two rooms. The tables are often all taken and it is usually quite loud. Great for kids but not for studying, reading, or working. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
This is a great small library! I feel like everything is very well organized at a level that is a little more on point than even many of the other metro libraries. I particularly like how many of the series have labels on the outside which is just one small detail that shows this location cares about ensuring a quality experience. It's a very clean quiet and comfortable location.
It’s a well known myth that a librarian from the Waukee Library invented the Dewy Decimal System. It’s a very nice library that is surprisingly quiet. Maybe a little too quiet. Also not a whole lot options there if any for those of you who are blind or illiterate. I’m just speculating really. Great place, as they always have what I need. The employees are awesome, and the place is very nice.
I want to thank the dedicated staff at the library for offering a summer reading program for the kids! And to thank them for sharing the Warrior Lanes Books for Bowling and Kids Bowl Free program with their patrons.
