I wanted a cheaper option for wedding flowers so I went to Hy-Vee fully expecting to get okay customer service and just your run of the mill bouquets and centerpieces.. I was pleasantly surprised!!!! I paid HALF of what I was quoted at other flower places and I had the most BEAUTIFUL flowers at my wedding. Stephanie was such a blast to work with, she was super flexible and gave me a lot of direction since I didn't know much about flowers. We set up an appointment about 4 months out and ordered all of the flowers; two days before the ceremony we realized it was going to be WAY to cold to have an outdoor ceremony and they were able to switch all of the ceremony flowers over to be used indoors. The flowers were definitely the cherry on top of what was already a perfect day. I will have to say, don't cheap out on your flowers, they make the world of difference! But you also don't have to pay 4 grand for flowers!!
