Enjoyed the dentist and staff for 2-3 years until they overcharged me. I had switched insurance and didn’t realize they had me scheduled 3 times in 1 year. Received a bill for $109. When I questioned it, the front desk said “I don’t have time to call everyone’s insurance to make sure you have coverage. We have too many patients to do that.” They told me to call my insurance company to pay. Insurance company said the dental office should always call before any appointment. Called dental office again. They said they would talk to the dentist and have him call me back. When he did, he was very condescending, said “Good thing I’m nicer then your insurance company and will take this off.” Received the same bill 2 months later AGAIN. Called the office and they said “oh ya, I guess this shouldn’t be on here.” I guess if they don’t have enough time to check on patients before or after their bills, then I’ll make it easier on them and not go back.

I have been a 15 year+ customer at EP True Dental and have had numerous, negative run ins with the attitude and customer-service challenged office manager, Shawna, including a no-notification cancelled appointment. I tolerated the front desk attitude and the mid-pack dentist because the hygienist staff (Rhonda) walks on water. As I recently became a new Medicare and United Healthcare Advantage customer, my insurance coverage at EP True Dental changed and I am covered by a no-questions-asked, $1000 per year allowance for dental coverage (actually a better deal for the practice than my previous corporate dental coverage). EP True Dental does not participate with UHC, no problem, and asked me to pay up front, again no problem, but when I asked for assistance filing a claim with UHC as the process is, admittedly, Greek to me, I was told in writing by Shawna that they would do so and file on my behalf. Cool. When I arrived for my (delayed) appointment and as I wanted to double check as to the claim filing process, I was told they don't and won't do so. When I reminded Shawna that she had told me (in writing) differently, she pretty much went off on me and in my ensuing conversation with the dentist, he suggested that I find a different provider. A surprise, indeed, but at that time I was done with them anyway.nnMy personal warning to anyone on a Supplement and Advantage policy with dental coverage is to take a long, hard look at this place before proceeding. I'm done with them and should have done so years ago.

The staff were kind and professional. The whole team was great about working us in, even as a new patient, that needed urgent care. The fees were appropriate and fair, and Dr. Olberding was great to work with! Highly recommend! And our entire family will be transferring care to EP True Dental!

I asked the receptionist a question about my tooth and she ignored me I thought maybe she didn't hear so I asked again and she rolled her eyes and said she didn't know.
