HyVee Gas stations all tend to be pretty good as far as convenience stores go. However, my gripe with this one is that they do that underhanded advertisement tactic where they leave notices of price reduction up all over the store (there are a LOT of those easily removable tags) all week but they only apply to certain days. The days are helpfully printed in much smaller text on the advertisement. I was dumb enough to just glance at the tag for the food I was buying, so they screwed me this one time. It's a pathetic enough tactic that I'm just going to go somewhere else.

Friendly store. Prepared foods. On site car wash. They sell candy bars, soda and beer, what more do you need?

the place was clean and tidy but i was extremely impressed with one of the employees at the meat counters knowledge and willingness to help. if you ever need a good cut of meat ask for ben!
