Holly's Dogs

Decided to try this place today and I got the Chicago dog and my fiance got the Polish dog with fries and a Mountain dew. The first red flag was NONE OF THE EMPLOYEE'S were wearing face masks and that little building was packed full of employees..but I hadn't eaten in a day and had just gotten out of surgery needless to say I was hungry.nThe lady taking the orders who also handled food had her hands outside the window resting on the dirty side of the building to top it off.nnAnyways due to the high price ( over $5 for a dog and fries ) I decided just to get the dog but turns out it's only $0.50 cheaper without fries. No idea where their math came from there because to get an order of just fries it's nearly $2... ? Well might as well pay the $0.50 for the fries.nSo we get our food and the SMELL was horrible instantly. The fries seemed to be cooked in old oil or somthing and tasted disgusting.nWe did try a fry for the benefit of the doubt but the rest were wasted.nNow let's move onto the rest of the food. .the Chicago dog looked good and wasn't too terrible. The hot dogs are cheaper Even though they charge a high price.nnMy fiance's Polish dog came with sour kraut and mustard.nI absolutely love sour kraut and so does he so we were pretty excited for that dog.nInstantly he was gagging from it. The kraut was ABSOLUTELY FOUL!!!! I tried it and spit it out. I have no idea if this shop tried to make it themselves or what but it was so bad I can't even describe it properly. Rotten almost .nSo we picked off all the kraut so he can eat the dog.nIt's been about 40 mins since we've eaten the food here and we ARE BOTH SICK.nI'm trying hard not to throw up my food but it's a losing battle here as I sit in the bathroom.nnWe never should have eaten the food after what we noticed right away and giving this restaurant the benefit of the doubt was not a good idea on our end . Because of the good reviews we wanted to give it a try. We saw the red flags and proceeded to eat the food anyway. This was a mistake.

Went for the first time. Service was excellent and very friendly! Really liked the dogs we chose and saw multiple items we'd like to try so we'll be going again.

I’m a picky eater and since I’m pregnant it’s even worse. Me and my boyfriend just moved to Clinton and haven’t been out much. We decided to stop by hollys hotdogs to try them because I’ve been craving a good hotdog. Let me tell you they DELIVERED. I was so HAPPY when I took my first bite and it tasted so amazing. We will absolutely be back soon. 10/10 one of the best hotdogs I’ve had in a long time:)

Tried the PBJ purely for the seemingly absurdity of it. Wasn't disappointed, it was actually very delicious and will be returning to try other things soon.
