I've been to a few El Loro's in Mpls. Have always enjoyed them. So when we saw this one, we thought it would be a gret place to stop in for lunch. Hardly anyone there, so thought we should be good. Our waitress...was pretty much non-existant! Took her awhile to get to us, then when we asked for extra napkins, she never came back with them. The food was great, just a little cold as it took so long to make it to our table. Then after we finished eating, she cleared some plates....never came back with the check!nWe saw a waiter there that has 2 other tables after we arrived. He was great with them. We ended up asking him for our check we we could leave!

Food was good, service was lacking to say the least. There was 1 table when we got there, and they said they had to yell in the back to get someone. We finally got the waitresse's attention and waited while while she swept the floor after she sat us to take our order for drinks. A couple eye rolls during our order and while paying makes me think twice about going back if we were in town, but the food was good and actually came out fast considering the other aspects.

The Pastor tacos were good, but not 3 for $9.99 good. More like 4 for $9.99 good. And why such a small portion on each taco? For $10, throw some rice and beans on the plate.nAlthough tasty (4 stars), won't be coming back here for to the value proposition (2 stars).

The large house margarita was and is DELICIOUS! So big and so tasty! Very nice atmosphere. The nachos platter is amazing!

The shorter waitress working Saturday August 8th was very rude. I ordered a margarita and she rudely asked small medium or large. Then I said on ice. I started to say not crushed because most places ask that and she rudely asked ice or no ice. I said ice. Then she rudely walked away from our table and never came back to take our order. We were getting ready to just pay for our drinks and leave then but the very nice guy in tattoos who was waiting tables came and asked us if anyone took our order yet. We said no so he took our order. I wanted to tell him what she did and why no one took our order however we didn't want to cause a scene. Needless to say I will never eat here again unless I knew he would be working. She definitely should not be working in customer service. At a time when restaurants are already having a tough time getting business you do not want to lose business to customer service. There are definitely many other people that would love to have a job right now during these hard economic times.
