Nice piece of Clear Lake history, and free (donations welcome)
This is a great stop to make on a road trip. Lots of cool historic fire fighter gear. Great stop for kids and it's free. The do have a donation drop which is nice to support the free museum.
Wow! Watch your emotions flow when you touch the steel beam from the 2nd Tower of 9/11. Museum is great and dedicated nicely to all fire fighters. Great collection of things and pictures to see.
I wanted to say Thank you so much to Missy for letting us stop in and see the Museum. My family was down in Iowa to visit the Buddy Holly site and it was pouring rain so we called around and called the museum and Missy answered and said she would be happy to meet us and let us in to look around. She was so nice. Going there ended up being the best part of our trip. My nephew loved ringing the bell with her. very exciting for a 8 year old. Thank you again Missy and Hope to be back in town and stop in
Beautifully done fire museum. Staffed by volunteers from the fire department. Definitely something for everybody.
