Food was excellent!! Portions were good sized. The staff and even the customers were very warm and genuine. If your passing through, I suggest stop here for a bite to eat!!
A wonderful and fun breakfast destination. You will not be disappointed with the options or the menu or the friendly service. An amazing small town diner that shouldn't be missed. The hash browns were particularly delicious with crispy outsides and pillowy middles.
My grandmother owns this restaurant I highly recommend stopping by and trying the best food I iowa
We wanted to love this quaint, mismatched and empty cafe. Jackie, our server, made a joke about how long the food was taking. As patrons came in, they were greeted by name and served promptly. I had to ask if we had offended her to deserve such slow service. When we finally got our food it was average. No refills on coffee, water or soda. Bring along a local if you want to get good service.
if you’re driving through looking for a local spot to get food, the Weather cane cafe is the spot! people are so friendly and it gives you a taste of the small town iowa. if i’m ever back in iowa, i will absolutely stop here again. thanks for breakfast weather vane:)
