Palace Theatre

You gotta love The Palace Theatre. It's one of the few pleasures of living in a town this size. First they are staffed by volunteers. Not just average volunteers but people who take pride in their theater & work. Second it's one of the cleanest best kept theaters I've ever been in. The screen size is great (especially compared to the cut up cracker boxes of larger cities) & you can even sit in the balcony. The price is fantastically affordable, they often have 3D movies & on & on. Finally, the floor, you will not find sticky icky floors at The Palace Theatre. They run a great theater & it's an enchanting cost efficient night out for anybody. It's a good reason to come to Vinton. That, & no stupid parking meters downtown or anywhere here.

Well kept secret, refurbished with new seats digital projector and nice Dolby 7.1 sound system

The food is great the service is great but the seats are a bit squeaky and can be very loud.

there was supposed to be a matinee on sundays according to the paper but drive in 25 miles & find it closed.....hmmmm

My favorite movie theater in the area. Classic, nostalgic vibe, while also comfortable and modern. Glad they keep it going.
