This used to be my favorite Pizza Ranch, bar none!nnHowever, in the last year the quality of food and service has gone downhill.nnI came here on Saturday, Oct 31(yesterday) around 1230 with a friend of mine for lunch.nnThe food on the buffet was OLD and near room temperature.nnYou know how old pizza looks when the cheese starts looking bad. Not only were all the pizzas like this, but the breadsticks were too.nnThe cactus bread was cold.nnThe mashed potatoes were old and room temperature.nnThe chicken was also near room temperature as well.nnI very politely brought this to the attention to the staff and sat back down to wait for fresh, hot food.nnAfter 15 minutes and no fresh, hot food, I went up front and asked for a refund. My friend did as well.nnThe manager on duty offered no apology or explanation as to why the food was not up to a safe temperature and why there was no fresh, hot food replacing it.nnI hope the health department pays this place a visit.nnSomeone is going to get sick eating at this place.nnThe FDA, Iowa law, and safe food standards require that food should be under warmers that are capable of keeping hot foods at or above 140° F and food is to only be served at or above 140° F.nnI do hope the owner takes action or Pizza Ranch yanks their franchise.
Awesome staff. Awesome food. Awesome location.
Very well-run store. We like Pizza Ranch and have been to many in small towns and large. Sometimes small town PRs can be stingy, or messy, or unhelpful. This was none of those. Great wait staff, good selection, and good use of small space even with physical distancing requirements.
Loved the Christian music playing. Very nice employees
