We really enjoyed our tour here. Very interesting. It's worth your time to stop here and learn about the past.
This was so interesting. The items in it were just as they were in 1932. Amazing she had the forsight to leave it as is and not modernize it. All the other communal kitchens were changed.
Very interesting how life was back when the Amana Colonies were first settled. They ate 5 meals a day, and the communal kitchen cooked for at least 8 different families.
Excellent guide who tells you alot of history,even has the original wooden sink!!!
Very informative guide, and lots of interesting kitchenware from the communal era.
