South County Pediatrics

Been going here since I was young, there is VERY FEW staff who have any type of personality at all. Everyone else has the personality of wet mops. I called in regards to an anxiety issue & was told my time is almost up with this pediatricians office, when I technically still have one year left and we are in the middle of a pandemic . I told the nurse/doctor over the phone that it took me a long time to finally build up the courage to come in and talk about possibly getting meds or something to help this anxiety I believe I’ve had for a while now. I was told if I can not get an appointment with a new doctor I can call back and go from there. I found one doctor (after calling multiple) who’s taking patients in the area and got an appointment for December. Which is over a whole month away, so I called back to get an appointment an expressed how bad my nausea/eating can be because of this (what I believe) anxiety. I was told that I would be fine until my mid December appointment. Literally told me “We think you will be okay until December it’s only a month away, but I will send you a list of therapists & primary care doctors, GOOD LUCK”. We are in the middle of a pandemic, I went back and forth with all staff on the phone I told them I was finally reaching out for some sort of help & in return I get a piece of paper with therapists & primary care doctors. Do yourself a favor & don’t come here, there’s so many better options I’m sure. Don’t recommend & based on other reviews I am not the only one.

Why is it always so difficult getting ahold of this office? I’ve been trying to call then since they opened at 8:30a this morning! Obviously this is a medical office and I am calling with an emergent situation. The phone number listed is off the hook - if you have a phone system that doesn’t allow you take receive more than one incoming call you SHOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER GETTING A NEW ONE!!!!!! But if that’s not the issue I seriously don’t know what is. Thanks

My stepdaughters come here because my husband was referred by someone in town when we moved this way. I work in the medical field and have for 15 years. I have NEVER seen or delt with a more unprofessional and ignorant medical team, ever. Terrible. I brought one of my stepdaughters in for a medical concern and the entire office was looking at us and whispering like children. It was disgusting. And once we got into the office even the DR had no idea what she was talking about. The 5 min of google search I did before we went to the office and I had more knowledge than her. Regardless that’s not how professionals should act especially when it’s in regards to a child. When I have called for urgent same day appointments they sometimes can’t even be seen that day. After my stepdaughter had high a fever for going on 3 days I had made an appointment and when I left asked for a note and they gave me a hard time about that. My biological children go to a Worcester office and I have no issues at all. My husband will be transferring them soon. Pathetic.

The staff overall can be great, however since Dr. Talieri left it's just not the same for us. We tried another doctor there and it just wasn't a good fit. She isn't very personable.
