She serves the entire community, without judgement. Dr. Carta has saved my life on 3 occasions, from her prompt care and referrals. The best doctor for younger or older patients.

Dr Carta takes the time to really hear and see her patients, and her supporting nurse practitioner is similarly focused. Sometimes, that means you need to wait a bit longer because a prior patient is getting all the attention they need, and you would want if it were you. This medical practice does what is right for the patient regardless of whether it makes them money. A unique experience in this day and age.

Whatever time your appointment is scheduled for you'll wait at least 30 mins before they take you in.. I thought it was a fluke the first time but here I am sitting... waiting... again...nMy appointment was at 345. I was brought into a room at 410, it's now 425 & still waiting. I told the assistant girl that I had to be out at 445 due to having to be home by 5 for my son, babysitter needs to leave at 5. I stated nicely that if She wasn't able to see me soon id have to reschedule. Offices run behind, I get it, but i have a baby at home. She gave me an attitude about this.nnAt this point I'm not impressed with this office at all.nnAt 430 I had to make the choice to reschedule my appointment ..

Do not become a new patient here! They are accepting patients despite the fact that they do not have any room for them. I became a patient early in 2016 after moving to the area. All new patients see the P.A. for a quick medical history rundown and a very brief physical. I had to wait about 2 months for that appointment. Then they ask you to schedule a full hour long physical with the Dr. herself... the only problem is the Dr schedules out about 4-6 months ahead for physicals. So after waiting over 4 months for my appointment, I received a phone call the day before my appointment, to confirm that I am seeing the P.A, not the Dr, who is on vacation. The soonest appointment that they can reschedule me for, to fix their own mistake is another 6 months away! No apology was given until I mentioned the fact that they didn't even bother to apologize. The woman on the phone seemed entirely unconcerned by the fact that they are making me wait a full year of Dr. Carta being my primary care physician before I even get to meet her!nnObviously I can not review the Dr. herself, as I have not even met her yet. What I can say, is that her office is run by amateurs. If you are looking for a new Dr, I would find one that you have the ability to meet in a reasonable time period.

If you are looking for a doctor who listens to you, hears your concerns, and helps, see Dr. Carta. Yes, you may wait 20 mins to see her sometimes but it's worth it. If waiting causes you angst, book the first appt of the day or after lunch. I've never had to wait over a week for an appt and the office is flexible in fitting you in if it's something more urgent. Bottom line: she cares, she's kind, she's accessible and she's smart!
