Experience as a customer: Many great quality, unique, and fun products to browse. Also a great gift selection! Friendly employees (staff and individuals) are ready to answer any question or help me check out with my purchases. Their inventory is always changing, which makes revisiting the store every couple months exciting. I've also had great experiences with requesting custom pieces, such as a Cornhole game with my family's business logo on the boards. I've been buying and gifting OWC's handmade home decor and jewelry for the past 4-5 years and I've never been disappointed.nnExperience as a employee: I've worked at OWC for almost 2 years as of January 2020. I can say that I've seen a lot of good growth in both management & community. Although not perfect, communication from management to employees has greatly improved since I was hired. Management has also been prompt, fair, logical, and professional when addressing unsavory situations, complaints, and workplace drama. No work place is perfect, but OWC acknowledges its flaws and works to fix them. I would consider it a fun, diverse, and rewarding environment to work in, and as long as you're polite, present yourself professionally, and do your job properly OWC can be a great place to work--and make some friends along the way.

Worked here for about two months. First off let me say the individual clients are amazing, but the staff and supervison is laughable and unprofessional. Had an experience with a very rude co-worker(White Woman) and as a African American male i would caution all other people of color who consider working here to be extra careful. So the coworker was loud and beligerent with me I did not respond to her instead i reported her to the supervisor. We were both spoken to and i thought that was the end of it. A week later i get called into Human Resources by the owner of the company along with a head super. visor an head of HR. I was informed that the lady i made my complaint against was now intimidated by me an that i was giving her threatening looks. I was also informed that i was gossiping about the entire incident all of which was an entire lie. Just like that the offender was made into be the victim. A black male employee turns in a white female employee for being rude and unprofessional and she was made to be the victim. Talk about Emmitt Till 2018. I am not going to file a complaint with the Labor Department because honestly i dont even want to go back to that place. But i type this as a warning to all African Americans that love this field amd are professional, caring and hardworking THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!!!
Great organization cannot speak highly enough about the people that work there and are in charge!
It's a nice place that helps handicap ppl for them to work & to have fun also all the staff is nice & very helpful. And lastly it's in a good location.
