Phillip is very professional, intelligent, & an excellent communicator. He has a high level of knowledge regarding aircraft simulation for use in pilot training, to include FAA requirements regarding BATD. I have had many good CFIs do my BFR over the past 30 years of flying but Phil ranks among the best. He has a very laid back personality and was great at picking out some of the things I needed to work on but in a way that absolutely did not make me feel stupid. If you are interested in learning how to fly or just looking for a refresher, he would be a great CFI.
