A wonderful set of trails in Tolland. Sometimes challenging due to rocky terrain and some small elevation changes, but I would not call it difficult. Rewards include some wonderful rock formations and an overlook on a ridge line. Definitely a must see in the area. Trails are often small but very well marked.
The main trail to the overlook required climbing over some large rocks, which can be dicey when covered with leaves or if you're not an adventurous hiker. Other trails to the overlook seemed easier, if harder to find.
Nice hikes! Minimal people. We loved it!
A nice set of trails, mostly through woodland. Entrance not ready to spot, look for the break in the metal barriers on the side of the highway. A short track leads down to a small parking area where the trails all start.
Private place, great for an individual walk.
