Traver Silbernagel American Family Insurance

I'm a bit embarrassed that we've carried our homeowner's insurance with this company as long as we have. 27 years....never filed a claim. When we received our bill this year I called about reviewing our policy and rates, I was basically ignored. A quick call back days later that was rushed and a promise of a follow up email that never happened. After shopping around, there are much less expensive insurance rates and more responsive agents.

Update. 5 months have passed. Still have not received a dime. We get promises all the time for return calls or texts from Trevor. Rarely do we hear back. We also get promises from other claim experts that they will contact us yet we hear nothing.nI can definitely say I’d NOT refer American Family to anybody.nnI’ve been batteling with American Family for months now trying to collect on a claim. It’s been nothing short of a nightmare. I was with American Family for just about 3 decades. One would think after being with them for that long you would get treated better. However this is not the case. If this ever gets resolved I’ll come back and update my review. If nothing changes you can assume American Family refused to pay.

It saddens me to say that after many years of being a customer this company has let me down and left me high and dry when their services the promise but never came through or kept their word I was lied to and disrespected and I am very disappointed with a company that I've been with so long
