I am a former student of University of Connecticut who utilized the services for Counseling and Mental Health Services (CMHS). I was assigned individual therapy with a counselor and medication referral to Ms. Grace. While I admit she was competent in her duties, I was upset that she did not reach out to her students that she would be leaving. This left me in quite a conundrum and I wish she had at least notified her student clients that she would be leaving for private practice.nnAgain, Ms. Grace is fully competent as a prescriber and answered emails timely, however she was a bit distant emotionally and hard to open up to (I understand she had an ancillary role to my therapist, but I felt she was cold and intimidating to the point that I had to remind myself she was there to help me, not judge me).
