Doctor Goldstein was FANTASTIC to say the least. Very impressed with the girls at the front desk. Nicole was my angel as she laughed a lot. God bless the ALL!!!!!

If you are looking for ophthalmologist, I highly recommend Norwich Ophthalmology Group. The staff is always professional, attentive and concerned about your eye care. They will take the time to listen and in turn, explain things in terms you can understand. Entire staff is exceptionally friendly!

Probably the worst doctor’s experience I have had. My son was treated for a stye removal by Dr. Slocum. First, they didn’t wait until the anesthetic had kicked in before digging into his eyelid, causing him a lot of pain. Second, they gave zero post-op instructions: I had to call to follow up. Third, during his follow-up appointment the doctor insisted he had operated on my son’s lower lid when it was actually my son’s upper eyelid! I was there! FOURTH, he still has the stye! And now another one on his lower lid! Sloppy work all around. Seriously considering suing for malpractice.

THESE PEOPLE ARE RIP OFFS!!! First off I waited ONE HOUR before being called in to see the Doctor. They had so many people waiting in spite of the COVIC 19 social distancing.nBefore making my appointment I called them several times to ask for a price for an eye exam.nI was adamant about knowing how much for a routine eye exam INCLUDING A REFRACTION since I was paying out of pocket. I made sure to ask what it included. They said if you pay out of pocket and paid it all off at once you get 30% off. I called three times to be exact what was included. They told me they have all Doctors and the eye exam was everything including a Refraction. When I got there and was done. The receptionist who gave the bill (not the one who helped me) started acting sneaky. She came back and increase the price. When I told her I had called several times. She went away came back and said the $45 extra was because they did a refraction! What?!!! I made sure to ask if it included everything especially a refraction before I got there because COHEN who was doing a full eye exam with refraction for $99.WITH 2 free frames. I INSISTED ON THE PHONE BEFORE GOING THERE THAT IF IT WAS MORE THAN $250 before the 30% I wasn’t going to do it. She just looked at me tried to make up a story about a refraction and shrugged her shoulders and was dismissive. This is so sad what they are doing especially since I was paying out of pocket. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. MY KIDS GO THERE BUT THEY ALL HAVE INSURANCE SO IT WAS FINE. But I think they would loss 4 clients now. Unbelievable!!!

Today Sept 2, 2020 at 10:40 I had my yearly appointment with Dr Ron Slocum whom I have nothing but very positive things to say about him always.nHowever, the sanitary condition in the exam room I was in was not what I would expect from a medical office to present. The garbage container was overflowing. Looked like it hadn't been emptied in several days, felt like germs emitting everywhere and the cabinet could use a good surface cleaning. Can't speak for the other exam room but, if the one I was in had these conditions, time to change you maintainence crew!!nNot a good sanitary example of a medical facility.
