Randomly googled handmade pottery and Glaze came up. I stopped by on the way to the borough and met Lyndsay, she's so nice and makes the most beautiful pottery! I bought a few pieces in the store and ordered more to ship. Everyone who has seen the mugs is as obsessed as me and the little seaside trinket trays are perfect for our house! My friends also love their sauce dishes! GO HERE it's the best pottery shop!
This is an amazing unique place. The artist has all of her truly beautiful and creative handcrafted art work on display. I highly recommend coming here in person. You are warmly welcomed by the friendly owner and it’s a real treat seeing all the stages of her creations from the potters wheel to the kiln. I have several bowls, plates and mugs from her and they are all of top quality. Each piece stands out with her signature flair of creativity. My wife and I had a great experience here and are sure to come again :-)
I've followed Lyndsay on Instagram ever since I met her at an artisan fair in CT last fall. A few weeks ago I made my first visit to her shop/studio, and was so happy to see all of her beautiful work in person again! She explained the process of crafting each product, including baking in the kiln and carving designs. Her shop is just filled to the brim with treasures. Every item is very unique and you can tell it was made with heart. My husband and I love our new mugs, and I'll be keeping an eye out for future additions to our collection from Glaze.
Great looking. Great quality. And maybe more important, great people. Definitely worth a look for gifts, decorative needs, and even just everyday plates, bowls, and cups.
