I really enjoyed the tour of the house. The docent was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the house and of Palmer's accomplishments very well.
Very well-preserved home. All 3 floors of this charming, pretty period home are open to touring.nnThe stairs between levels are difficult to navigate for those with walking issues.
Interesting, little known location. Personal tours, $5 fee. Palmer at 21 discovered AntarcticanLived here with brother and his family. Some original artifacts
Very informative tour of Nathaniel Palmer's house. $5 admission charge is worth it. 3 floors of home with much history behind it. Beautiful 360 degree view of the Stonington area from the octaganal cupola.
Lots of history. Beautiful details. Many antiques just tight for a event due to it being an old house
