There was a big concern with one of my neighbors' dog. She was tied up in the sweltering heat, begging and crying to be let inside the house. I wasn't sure if her owners were home or not, but they were definitely not responsive towards the dog's suffering; as she was crying throughout the whole day. I called Greener Pastures Rescue, in hopes that they could come check out the situation for the poor dog, but to my surprise, no one answered. They didn't even have a voice mailbox set up! So, in the end, I had to call another shelter. But even the other shelter didn't pick up, so I had to leave a message. . . Can people even be trusted to care for animals these days? If they want to help out animals, and get them to a safer place, they could start acting more responsible!nnLet's just hope the dog is alright :I
