I completely echo what the other reviewer said - the most inviting sales experience I've ever had! I was there to pick out my 8-year-old nephew's first skate board. I had no idea what goes into making/getting the right kind of board. I feel so comfortable knowing that my nephew will be as safe as possible on this high, high-quality piece of equipment. The owner said that he especially likes to promote Norwich to the out-of-towners, handing them the walking-tour brochures and directing them to our skate park which he helped Norwich to get. Highly recommended!
By far the most inviting skate shop I’ve ever been to! Building my first skateboard, I clearly had many questions and the owner Jeff guided me through and answered all my questions with his expertise from the board size, to the bearings, to the wheels, and everything in between.nnNot only was it an amazing learning experience for skateboarding, Jeff was an excellent person to talk to and get to know while building the board. This is more than just a skate shop, it’s a community and Jeff shows this by getting to know his customers personally.nnExcellent service and very easy to feel at home in this store!
Just bought my first disc from Ideal skateshop. Had the pleasure of talking with the owner Jeff. What a wonderful shop and a very nice owner. Lots of cool discs to take a look at and some very cool shoes and boards. I would recommend anyone to check Ideal Skateshop out it's great supporting local and he has comparable prices to amazon and other big box stores.
Jeff is an awesome guy and really helped me out picking the best skateboard setup for me. The store has great vibes and just a really good experience overall. 10/10 would recommend.
Jeff is amazing. Took great care with the kids boards. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
