I had a procedure done that I know should have been covered (paid for) by my insurance 100%. Insurance processed the claim incorrectly and applied it towards my deductible. When I called and spoke to the physician's office billing department about this error I was told that they have too many patients to sit on the phone with insurance companies, and that if I wanted insurance to reprocess the claim I had to contact them myself. While it has taken 6.5 months for insurance to correct this issue, I have been in constant contact with both the insurance and physician's office about the status of what is going on. I was then sent to collections because insurance did not reprocess and pay this within their time frame. I received a phone call recently from insurance stating they are going to be paying the bill as it was processed incorrectly the first time. After insurance called to say they were paying the claim I called the office back and asked they remove my account from the collection agency. I was told they can't do that. I asked if they would remove it after they are paid from insurance and was told that was a topic of discussion for a later time. Very poor billing department and poor customer service.

I will never go there again. The doctor was rushing me through, did a fake examination of my heart. I brought up 3 issues I was having and she told me next time she sees me. This is not the first time that Hartford healthcare treated me poorly. Its obvious that your main concern is certainly not about the patient . I am a human being and expect to be treated as such. Maybe your using clone doctors because she sure acted like one.
