My experience at Van Thompson Vision has been a horrible experience. I have had trouble with my eyes since cataract surgery. For follow ups I can’t see the surgeon who performed the surgery. They have me seeing an OD. I have driven from the MSP area to Fargo, which is a long drive, and they continue putting me off and say wait a bit longer. The last time so saw Dr. Greenwood he said he would decided as to what I should have done to improve vision, but to no avail I see an OD. First of all I waited in a small room for over 1 hour and twenty minutes, without anyone coming to the room to tell me they were running late, so I had to leave and ask someone have they forgotten about me!!!Finally the OD came and never had his nose covered with mask, just his mouth. Then he decided to put tear buds in my eyes and he was touching my eyelids without gloves on, I was appalled and stunned. He came in touching door knobs, paper, computer and he put my life in danger by not following medical guidelines during the coronavirus. I am still upset, and I would recommend a different eye center to go to.nI plan to do some action action toward the irresponsibility of putting my life in danger with not following healthy guidelines.

I am happy to share that my experience from the get-go was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and fun and courteous. Dr. Greenwood was great. I had my second cataract removed on my birthday and they went out of their way to make it special, including some flowers and a Happy Birthday song from my doc.nnThe word is out - I shared with everyone I talked with after surgery.

I would highly recommend this facility for medical services. I have had outstanding service from start to finish.nThe procedure was thoroughly explained in terms that I could understand and they gave me ample time to ask questions. Everyone that interacted with me was very kind and compassionate and put me at ease. In the early evening after the surgery, I was called by the surgeon and he asked how I was doing and if I had questions for him. He is very caring when it comes to his patients..

I had such an amazing experience at Vance Thompson Vision! What a great environment as soon as you walk in. Always greeted with a warm welcome by my first name. You can feel the positive culture there when interacting with all the staff. I can’t say enough about the quality of Lasik I received from Dr. Greenwood, it’s truly life changing!nThank you Vance Thompson Vision team for the great experience.

Vance Thompson Vision provided great care to my mom. They worked with her until she was capable of performing the task on her own, which led to her success! Her vision has improved greatly and we couldn't be more satisfied. My family is very grateful for the professionalism and service provided at Vance Thompson Vision. The staff went ABOVE and BEYOND any of our expectations!
