It was alright. It was really nice. Would have been nice to get the wine glasses for free.. no wine tasting at the time.
We love Jonathan Edwards winery - we hadn't been there in a while and decided to go on our anniversary. We brought lunch with us and purchased a bottle of their delicious sauvignon blanc. We sat on the covered patio overlooking the vineyards - had a wonderful, relaxing time. Of course we had to bring more bottles home!
Upon arrival we did not feel welcomed. Due to the pandemic, no wine tasting or tour was available but options should be presented. No history of the place was given or of the wine we selected but loved the social distanced tables and view of the place. The crackers with the cheese were delicious and the picnic prepackaged was a great idea.
What a delightful surprise I had today exploring and relaxing with my good friend and a delicious bottle of wine at the J Edwards Winery. Until this week I had never tried their wine and it is lovely! Limited only due to their cautious nature for the public based on COVID19 restrictions which made me feel safe and secure in the time I spent there today. Well done!
Just an hour from Providence in the middle of nowhere sits this gem of a winery with open fields of vineyards and seating near it for enjoying a delicious bottle of wine and snacks to enjoy the sunlit day with the clouds floating by looking down on this beautiful location. Don't forget to buy a few wine glasses with the logo ! Its worth the trip.
