Great little museum! Full of USCG history, dating back to the Revolutionary war. The staff Jen and Josh are doing an amazing job!
I loved going here and learning about the CG. The staff were so lovely and willing to give us a guided tour.
Excellent site of history for an organization deserving of such a fine representation. Ms. Jen Gaudio, the curator, is a beacon of light and a champion of the Coast Guard. I was grateful to spend some time with her.
I found the exhibits to be authentic with an abundance of detailed literature of events. It was inclusive and tasteful. I would seriously recommend this museum to anyone interested in a coast guard career as well as those interested in the history of coast guards.
Not well enough known! Excellent, relatively small museum that tells the story of the Coast Guard and the Services (lighthouse and rescue) that grew out of Alexander Hamilton's Revenue Cutters.
