A great museum showing the history of the ships and the area. I loved it. I loved the folks working on the boats in the north entrance. I wish there were more people in the houses talking to you about them and the time period besides reading a bunch of signs but I understand if that's not financially possible or not covid possible. Reading signs only take you so far.

Very interesting museum. The weekends they have people in costume. Free sail and paddle boat rentals, free harbor tours, great exhibits. Really excellent spot for 2-3 hours. Restaurants and taverns are open.

The staff and exhibits were so informative! Grounds are clean, well kept and alot larger than we thought, could have spent longer than the 2hrs we stayed for. Can't wait to come back again!

It was part of our Anniversary trip. I hadn't been since 1977. My wife and granddaughter were anxious to make the trip from Missouri. Covid got in the way but we were still able to visit the museum and a lot of the seaport. I suggest this place to anyone who really wants to travel back to the 1600's and get a real feel for that period. The ships and shops and the many buildings from that period are so wonderfully preserved. Simply put...JUST GO.

We loved Mystic Seaport Museum! It's a fun, and educational place to see! Great food at the on site restaurant, lots of boats to see, and a boat repair, building place. I like being able to board some of the bigger ships to see how they were worked . The village that shows how people years ago lived and worked is extremely educational. A must see if in the area, or to make a special trip to see!
