Great little backyard park, The events they have once in awhile are really cool too
I have been on a quest to find information about specific ancestors that lived in New London so I arranged a trip to the Historical Society. Even though there was an issue with our electronic communications, the staff was very accommodating and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about not only the materials they have on-site but also they made suggestions about other places I should visit.
The house is amazing. Large antique portraits. Beautiful rooms. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff.
Quick but nice visit to Shaw Mansion to conduct business between them and other local historical society. Very nice staff!
Everything you want to know about the history of New London is here. Where you can see the room where George Washington stayed! Yes, he really did stay in New London. So go on down and take a walk though the history of New London.
