Google wouldn't let me give 0 stars so I guess I have to give a 1 star. Had an appointment for an estimate, never showed, no phone call or anything. Wanted to reschedule for a week from now after I have all my other estimates. No thanks. Not professional.
Ricci can get the job done with compassion and Precision. They knocked it out of the park from the roof to the basement. The work they needed to subcontract out, was done by consummate professionals that I was comfortable with. Both Johns are great to work with and there favorite word is.... “change order”...ud83dude06...nThe trim work was some of the most skillful work I have seen in a long time(our house was built like a funhouse vintage 1890). These guys worked with us with patience, and can’t say enough nice things, you would be lucky to have them do work on your house....
After I posted the below review my wife was contacted by a representative of Ricci. He (apparently the original owner's son) was very anxious to ameliorate the damage. He came to the house, examined the work, suggested the problem was caused by a tile guy who is no longer with the company and gave her a check for about half of what it will cost to repair the damage. He also said he would have done the repairs himself for free if we had contacted him earlier (we hadn't). Since he made a good-faith effort to make things right I've raised my review from one star to four.nnRicci redid our hall bath several years ago and we're now discovering what an awful job they did. Our master bath (with a common wall to the hall bath) tested positive for mold. When we had the wall taken down we discovered rotten timbers, plumbing that restricted access to our tub's access panel and a LOT of mold. Apparently the bathroom had been leaking from several spots the whole time. It's going to cost thousands of dollars to repair what they did.
