Select Physical Therapy, formerly Cheshire Physical Therapy, is, without a doubt, the finest physical therapy practice in the area. It is a small intimate practice which is based on developing a close relationship between therapist and patient. The therapist, John Payne, is simply the best and I have him to thank for my steady recovery from both a prior back surgery and currently a total knee replacement. I won’t trust my care to anyone else.

Select Physical Therapy in Cheshire is a great place to go. Both John and Peggy are very professional and also on point to what you individual need is. They also do a great job with voicemail reminders of appointments every week. Been working with John Payne most of the time with both my hip replacements and he is tremendous!!

I am just about finished with my 12 wks of PT after a left total ankle replacement. My therapists were usually John Payne or Peggy. I found them both to be very knowledgeable, always prepared, and kind. Therapy was always started on time. I always felt that they sincerely cared about how I was feeling and the progress I was making. I believe the exercises I was given to do at home between therapy visits also contributed to regaining the range of motion in my ankle and the continued growth of my left leg strength. I would highly recommend Select Physical Therapy's Cheshire location.

I have had the good fortune to be able to rely on the care of this organization and their physical therapists three times, and their care has been consistently exemplary. The physical therapists are skilled practitioners and creative problem solvers. They know their business. They have also been thoughtful and skilled educators, helping me to understand what was wrong and how to fix it, defusing my concerns. I have really appreciated their people skills and gentle humor. I have felt that the staff genuinely cared about me and worked hard to promote my progress. They have earned my respect, gratitude, and friendship. What a wonderful team! Good people, thank you!

My experience with Select was wonderful. When I arrived they were always prepared and I would immediately start my treatment. Never had any issues and everyone there is very friendly. If I ever get into a situation where I need physical therapy again then I will most certainly return to get treatment from them again.
