A truly great place to pray and learn.

Warm and welcoming ... they were not. If anything, the rabbi struck me as rather aloof. He showed little interest in conversing with me once he determined that I was an unlikely candidate to join his congregation (and contribute financially). During my second visit, he barely acknowledged me and walked away as I was speaking to him ... leaving me wander by myself among the empty tables. I gave up on this place after this visit. Then again, my experience with other congregations in Vegas was not that different: very dry and business-like. Even Chabad missionaries here look and act more like the docile choirboys on a religious retreat than the crazy-eyed tefillin propagandists of Brooklyn. While not condoning the latter, I do prefer a bit more "soul" in my "spiritual leaders." Despite my personal "so-so" experience with the shul, I am quite happy to see that the congregation is growing. Having more frum families move to the Green Valley neighborhood is actually good for our community and Vegas in general. Just don't be so "dry!"

They are very welcoming and family like. A very great for your family and to learn torah.

Warm, friendly, family environment for those looking to grow spiritually, learn Torah, or have a nice bowl of chulent with good people. And Rabbi Fromowitz is A-class!
