Extremely drafty and cold. Be sure to bring layers. Also be prepared to not be able to concentrate. If there are loud people, there isn’t really a place where you can go away from them. There should be a special room where people with special needs can go. They deserve to come to the library too, but the space is one big room rather than little compartmentalized areas.
that on 10-24-2019 @ 1 pm i called the library to see if they had a particular book. i was told the copy is at the main library, they would transfer it to the mitchell for me on 10-25. the woman call taker had me on hold for several minutes as she researched the book/ transfer. i gave her my name. she did not want my email. she said the book would be present at @ 2 pm . i just returned from the mitchell- no book. they said they could not locate my info- yesterday they did not need any info . not good. hope you have better luck.
One of my favorite libraries other then the Downtown branch in New Haven.
Variety of quiet section tables to work and nice array of computers. Whenever I need help from staff I get it easily.
Very nice clean and staff excellent. Hot here in Ct. Air conditioned library. Nice neighborhood.
