We are in love with Kebabian's! My husband and I went there with a plan to buy rugs for our entire loft. While we were there, we were able to compare the rugs side by side, while they asked us thoughtful questions about the space and our collective taste. They were able to advise us on colors, styles and sizes and offer descriptions of the design and manufacturing processes. For our living room rug, we were torn between two very similar designs and they helped us make a very tough decision! But when we got home, we realized we actually had space for both and turned around and bought the other one, too. We just couldn't get enough! The staff members at Kebabian's were incredibly patient, helpful and kind during our shopping experience. They even made sure we had our rug pads and carried the rugs out to the truck. We are very excited to go back for more rugs very soon! (The rugs themselves are tremendous. Exquisite color and top notch quality. I grew up in a house full of vintage oriental rugs and I truly appreciate this level of uniqueness and handmade manufacturing.)
I love rugs. I flip thru Great Carpets of the World and Carpets of the Orient and before the pandemic would roam the rug district in NYC and look at the rugs at the Met. How lucky am I to have Kebabian's here in New Haven. Kebabian's is local, family owned, has a great variety of antique and new high quality, affordable rugs and the family and staff is so knowledgable, friendly and helpful. I brought swatches and ended up with a large rug that I hadn't even considered and it anchors my whole living room and looks amazing. I love it. It makes me happy every day. I also bought a Moroccan runner which is so stylish and makes me smile. The whole experience was so satisfying. I will definitely be back soon.
I bought a beautiful runner rug from Kebabian’s a couple months ago. I found the rug online and worked with Mary to get more photos (wasn’t able to visit the store in person). The rug shipped and arrived promptly and it looks exactly like the photos! The colours are vivid and the size is exactly what I needed. Thanks Kebabians!
My husband and I have had the pleasure of purchasing 3 rugs from Kebabian’s and the rugs are all perfect. Perfect because Kebabian’s has such a large selection of high quality, beautiful rugs designed for a variety of spaces and styles. And it is a pleasure to work with them as they always give you individual attention and also guidance regarding the characteristics and quality of the rugs you are considering. The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Kebabians was great to work with. I live in Michigan and found a rug on their website that I fell in love with...only it wasn’t the right size. They worked with me to alter the size and sent it to me promptly! I highly recommend them!
