Went here to get a battery replaced for my luminox 3080 watch, he replaced the battery and apparently did something wrong, mind you this is a dive watch. Took a shower with it on and when I came out the whole watch face was filled with moisture on the inside. I’ve owned this watch for nearly a decade and have many batteries replaced and have gone diving after without incident. I return and explain the situation, he takes it apart once again and says he did nothing wrong, I asked him to fix it and he says he will not fix it but insisted I do it myself by looking up intructions on the internet. I send it to luminox to get a repair estimate and it will cost over $300 dollars to fix. Upon talking to the luminox rep, he said the stem was somehow broken, and the wrong battery was put inside causing the back of the watch not to have a flush seal as it’s supposed to be watertight. DO NOT GO HERE. There are plenty of other reputable watch repair places nearby. What kind of “watch repair” business says they will not fix a watch and tells you to look up intsuctions on the internet!? He took no responsibility and blamed me. This guy has no idea what he’s doing and I’m sure will not last long with that attitude. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
