When you arrive there is a sign that says park here and wait to be called on the phone. I waited a half hour then called the store. You can't reach the local store staff. The local phone number transfers you to a corporate office off site. I walked over to the pharmacy window and asked if they were running a half hour late. They sent ne to a handleless door which was then opened for me. The others waiting left in frustration. The person doing the test was incompetent, however so is the store management which offers no instructions for if no one calls you while you are parked in the appropriate parking spot waiting for hours with no one calling you. Exactly what not to do in customer service. Losing all faith in CVS Corporate for letting this go on.
Always, a long hold on the phone or no answer at all. Always, line of people inside to check out. I give one star for being 24/7 and I have no choice for 0.
I give them two stars just because the staff is nice and will answer any questions you may have. The downside is that unfortunately this pharmacy is always backed up 60 minutes or more. They must have a large amount of prescriptions and not enough pharmacists to accommodate their work load. The three or four overworked Pharmacists and hundreds of sick people needing medication 24/7 isn’t going to play out very well. They need a better system.. because they’re always backed up. Nevermind trying to call you’ll be on hold for a half hour (even if you are the prescriber) . Just to be told they are “still working on it.”
This is the best pharmacy ever! Last night we went there to get some cough suppressant and expectorant and I was amazed that the prescription pharmacists was working at 1:30 am. Even in New York (the big city) most of the pharmacies close at 6:00 pm for get a prescription or behind the counter medications and barely find one that is open 'til 10:00 pm like Rite Aid in Mill Basin Brooklyn. I really like the freedom sensation to take the car in the middle of the night and ride few minutes to get wherever you want that a pharmacy and store can offer to you. And the place is easy to find.
Very nice people at the Pharmacy. Need more people to work behind the counter. They were unable to help with insurance. I have a good insurance and I still have to do the leg worknAt Stop and Shop they do all the insurance information. I was very disappointed they could not even get the name and birthday correct after saying the name about 10 times. The end result I had to pay out of pocket and come back the next day to get my refund. Was not easy transaction but staff was friendly. Sadly that was the only positive thing I can say.
