My husband and I have lived in Middletown for 6 months so far and spent over $1000 on liquor at this store since we are 5 minutes away. We know every employee, and everyone is always nice. My husband went 5 minutes before they closed on a Friday night (Valentine’s Day). The (what I assume is the manager) was waiting at the door 5 minutes before closing. My husband approached the worker and asked what time they close. The clerk, responded with 8:55 even though their hours Online clearly say 9:00pm close. We both work 80 hour work weeks and all we wanted at the end of this one was a drink to share on Valentine’s Day. CT beverage mart you just lost two customers. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND MAKE SURE MY NEIGHBORS KNOW NOT TO SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.
