Personal trainers and group classes beyond compare! There is also a great weight loss group challenge that helped and motivated tons of people like me. Plenty of room, great equipment, a movie theater! And all for reasonable and affordable price!

Couple of items have gone into this 1 star review.n- Signed up before they even opened. All was great until one day I just couldn't access the women's only area. Apparently I didn't have the right membership for that and I would have to pay more. Even though I was told I had access originally, it just magically changed without notice.n- Then areas I had access to before started becoming unaccessible as well. First a training room. Then the turf started to be occupied by their large group training sessions. So if your timing was wrong, you were just out of luck. Sorry, can't trainer here just because we decided we are going to occupy the space and we don't care about your needs or the fact that you are a paying customer.n- Membership costs increase without any notice. Zero notice!n- Finally like so many of the recent reviews I tried to cancel during the pandemic. They ignored my request and told me it was frozen. I told them please cancel anyways. They ignored that. Then they start charging again at more than 2x the rate! Again I go to cancel but of course they will not honor my original request and will not provide any refunds.nnThey are a corporate gym and they don't care about their customers. My advice, find a nice local gym that's run by decent individuals. Wallingford has at least 3 great gym boutiques as well as great yoga studios! If you don't mind being deceived and mistreated as a customer, then this gym is probably fine.

The edge when they first started was a great gym. Like all gyms, once Corporate gets involved it is all down hill. The edge doesnt do Pandemic holds anymore and now wants proof from a doctor if you cant use the gym. They also won't let you cancel. Terrible business great gym facility.

Fantastic place to work out, friendly staff. My one gripe: the HORRIBLE HORRIBLE dance/pop music that they play! If you go, invest in a good pair of earbuds/headphones to block it out.

They did not care about me after I signed up. The staff and the managers at the front desk were rude. Their goal, to make the sale. I referred some people over at the beginning and they all had bad experiences. Getting charged double, not getting their refund, and going through their weird billing department. I had a horrible experience with one of the managers, Melissa, who yelled at me for having a nervous tic while talking to her. I have never been treated so horribly anywhere, much less because of a tic that I cannot control. As much as I love the Zumba classes, I don’t recommend this gym. It was an overall bad experience and the management could care less to try and fix it or make improvements.
