BEWARE: A lot of bad goes on here in the parking lot with the teenagers with guns holding up the citizens and stealing the cars and the groceries/packages. The kids live in the projects above the plaza on Mix Ave and come from New Haven on the busline. WAS good back in the 60's.

Hamden Plaza is one of the three main shopping centers in Hamden. It has a variety of stores for most needs. I frequent it regularly.

Plenty of stores from grocery to clothes and shoes and gyms. Food options are available.
